Product Review: Best Price and Best Cushion

This is my third sloping coccyx cushion. The other two I purchased from different makers were OK but this is the best. It is also the lowest price cushion on the market. Sometimes a higher price does not give you a higher quality.

I am very disappointed with this product. I bought it not for a tailbone problem but because I want to sit higher in the seat when I drive. I weigh only 105 pounds yet the cushion squishes down to nearly nothing. On top of this it arrived folded into a paper envelope with the cushion cover completely crushed. I paid $4.95 shipping for that! If that were not bad enough, when I called about returning it I was told they know it squishes down - so why didn't they provide that information in advance? To return it, I would have to pay my own shipping and be charged 10% of the product cost so it would cost me nearly $12 to test a $14 cushion for ~30 seconds. I'm surprised Amazon even does business with this company.

On a more positive note, a similar product, the one that is advertised on TV, arrives in a very secure box, is firm enough to hold my weight, has much better fabric covering, and qualifies for free shipping. I highly recommend that product instead of this one.

This seat has done me well since my coccyx (tailbone) started hurting late in pregnancy. No excuse for not seeing a chiropractor, but the cushion does help me to remember my good posture, and provides some gentle relief when sitting on hard furniture.

I hurt my tail bone and a donut wouldn't do. I bought this cushion to see if it would be better. It was! So much better, I ended up buying 2 more. It works great for the car and my computer chair. Right now I can't live without them. I would highly recommend!
