I had been using the cheap 20 to 29 dollar hearing aids from the drug stores. I thought I had gotten good deals but I couldn't hear the TV that well because the refrigerator and the washing machine would come in louder. The batteries would last me about 3 to 4 days only. The last one went into the washer in my shirt pocket. I decided to try something different. I saw the Acoustitone PRO in Amazon and thought the price was reasonable and reviews looked great. I got one and can honestly say that this hearing is really worth the money you pay for it. I can pick up the TV and car radio very excellent and at work I can hear everyone now without having to hear all the extra noise I used to hear with the cheap hearing aids. I don't think I will need to ever upgrade to other expensive hearing aids because this one is doing a super job. After about 4 weeks I went ahead and changed the first battery because it hadn't drained yet and I didn't want to get stranded with a low battery somewhere. And like the other reviews say you do get it faster than you think. I ordered mine on Tuesday late night and got it on Saturday morning using the regular shipment order.
