I have the back shaver and love it, but I really didn't see the importance of buying the prviate shaver too. Amazon's free shipping got me to do it though and said what the heck. So now i have another special tool for the private areas on my body, but it is cool and happy with the purchase. I guess this is what they call manevolution?
Anyhow, I must admit I was wrong with my initial thoughts that using the back shaver for the privates was fine, because the private is better designed for this. In no way would I risk a blade down there again and I am pourchasing a few extra blades today. I wrote this review because I sawe a few other which were negative on the shavert and a little perplexed. Strange, but i like the product and for the price its worth it.

This product is poorly designed and does not work very well. I read all of the reviews and the negative ones really made me think before I ordered, but I did it anyway since it came with a free nose/ear trimmer. I truly believe that the positive reviews below are planted to boost the rating. Any decent beard trimmer would work better than this. I guess if the price was $14-$19 it would be a fair price but $39.99 is too expensive. Spend another $10 and get any more reputable brand beard trimmer if you really want a positive experience. Nothing about this item makes it "better" for "private" areas.Product Review: I want my money back!!!

I purchased the man groomer based on all the positive reviews here and was severely underwhelmed. For starters the manufacturing is extremely cheaply done, all in China. The case is very flimsy plastic and would likely break with any kind of abuse.
Furthermore the product simply does not work and slows down when trying to cut hair. Either the motor or the power supplied is simply not enough to do an effective job on cutting hair. In addition, the red standoff is useless for cutting hair to a certain length as hair will completely miss the cutters when going over certain areas.
Do yourself a huge favor and ignore all the fake positive reviews, many of which conspicuously have only 1-2 reviews in their portfolio. Having spent some time as a manufacturing engineer myself, I can definitely say that little attention was paid to the design of this product and there was likely no product revision and no product testing.
If you still want to believe that this product will do wonders for you, email the company and ask for a money back guarantee in writing! I know I want my money back!

I reccommend buying this for trimming your underarm hair and arm hair if it is crazy out of control. I am a hairy beast and this is one of the only shavers I have used that tackles it all. The real reason you would get this shaver is to tidy up unkempt areas. Hey its a new thing and all the girls love it and its cool. So i had personally tried out a phillips body groomer first, which while it is similar in that you can use it in the shower as well as out of it. The Phillips didnt survive falling in the shower. I decided to return the Norelco and instead of getting another good razor decided to try out this MANGROOMER Shaver. Heard a few commercials for it, and well it has man in it so i thought that they would've done some R&D into shaving mens hair. Well first time it trimmed ok, and the shave part really is just there for aesthetics. The performance of this device just really degrades over time, to the point where instead of cutting the hair, it is now pulling it out, a big OUCH factor. Would i recommend this to all potential buyers, no not really. It doesnt do a good job at all and requires more work to trim in areas where it is just ridiculous. So fellas, i would recommend not making the same mistake with me and just picking up the Phillips Norelco Body Groomer instead. It just so happened that a couple of weeks ago, the foil to the shaver part broke, so no its useless.
