I recommend them highly, as an energy bar and as a truly healthy snack bar. I bought the Nutz Over Chocolate. Very tasty. For me, it is a good lunch; any more food and I get sleepy. Has 0% trans fats and cholesterol and hydrogenated oils. Has nice amount of potassium & fiber, and a good boost of calcium & antioxidants. I am gluten-intolerant and got no bad reaction to them (label is silent about gluten-free, so may contain a trace of something).Product Review: Luna Bars, not only for women!

This will be a short review because I feel like many other reviewers have already covered almost all of the positive points of this product. I just want to say that I think that this product is fantastic and while specifically marketed towards women, these things are fantastic for men!
It may seem obvious that this product is not solely intended for women and some readers may see through the advertising campaign but this review is to state specifically that these things are great for ANYONE with an active lifestyle.
I've grown a little tired of Clif Bars. Don't get me wrong, they are fantastic but sometimes I need a change of pace. Whenever I am rock climbing, biking, running or I need a quick meal replacement, these things are incredible and tasty. The protein/calorie ratio in these bars is slightly higher than Clif bars too! (5.56% compared to 5.0%, 10g/180g to 12g/240g).
The only downside is that many of the bars are prone to melt in adverse weather conditions, but I feel like the added deliciousness and reduction in number of calories compared to a Clif bar makes these well worth it.

The flavor of these nutrition bars is very good. My only complaint is that you must have milk, water or something else to drink as you are eating them. They have a grainy texture that can stick in your throat if there is nothing to drink with them.
Otherwise, they are great. Very nutritious and satisfying.
