I realize that the reading is a little higher. But yet, it still provides you with an idea of what your blood pressure is and if you need to see your doctor. The memory feature really helps the doctor to view your pressure reading to assist in determining if something needs to be changed, reduced or prescribed. We have had this device for 5-6 years and has been of great benefit to us.

The Lumiscope 1091 runs on only 2 AAA batteries and automatically switches off after use. Its only downside: wrist blood-pressure monitors are more sensitive than arm cuff models to variables like position and temperature.
