People over analyze a piece of plastic,these are heavy enough to do the job and I'm 5'-7" 290 lbs.
Of course it may break if you push on it to hard but IT'S PLASTIC.Good deal for 2 horns,Buy It.

How did I ever get along without these? They make it possible for arthritic me to get my shoes on in a hurry. No bending or struggling required. I keep one in the shoe closet and one in my overnight bag so I'm never without it.Product Review: ok considering the price, but flimsy

These are a little too flimsy and flexible for a shoe horn. If you can spend a few extra dollars, it's better to get a slightly better one. However, for $2 each, what do you expect? They are goood as extra shoe horns to have around, and work better than not using one at all!
And of course having a long shoe horn is great for people who don't like to bend over to use the traditional ones.
