Product Reviews of Little Noses Decongestant Nose Drops, Children 2+, .50 fl oz (15 ml) (Pack of 4)Product Review: Not just for "Little Noses"! Summary: 5 Stars
I am a registered nurse and I use this product myself. I had experienced severe side effects after using other products formulated for adults, such as rebound nasal congestion, an unpleasant stinging sensation and even found myself completely dependent on one popular nasal spray several years ago. I have found that the formulation of decongestant in "Little Noses" is perfect to relieve my minor nasal stuffiness that interferes with my sleep, and I have never experienced any of the side effects so often found with stronger sprays and drops. I would recommend this product to anyone with occasional nasal stuffiness and I hope it will always be available.

I just spoke to a visiting doctor staying at my house..(Pediatrician) and I told him I can feel my ear canal starting to ache...the typical ear infection...which is usually inside the ear,(and the canal) not outside...he recommending nose drops in the outer ear canal, not the canal that drops into the back of the mouth, and in the nose, and I asked about irrigating my ear canal (from the rear of the mouth up to the ear by leaning way over to get warm salt water to travel up the canal..(tricky, as you usually wind up getting some up to the nose...but it ain't no big deal...and he agreed...it's important to irrigate the inner ear canal...a few times a day....it does work....he did not recommend using sodium hydroxide in the outer ear area...which I recently applied with a Q-tip...and of course you should never try irrigating the inner ear canal with sodium hydroxide...the risk of swallowing that stuff...bad news. Warm salt water for inner ear...nose drops for outer ear and nose....
And when your dentist tells you you have a 6 or 7 pocket...remember, when they get any deeper, (the upper ones lead into your head...and you can get a brain infection...) you're really talking about life threatening problems. Use a proxy brush to clean out your pockets....not just floss. You'll be surprised at how much stuff is still in there after you brush and floss. Proxy brushes look like a tiny christmas tree on a wire with a handle...they're good for about four days...then they start bending and getting weak...toss them...you don't need the end of a proxy brush stuck in your gum pockets because the head broke off the handle...that's a little nightmare...
