Product Review: Excellent Sleep Mask - Great Price Too

These are a great value - we've seen inferior products for two and three times this price. I know it's only a sleep mask but hey, it gets the job done.
Pros:
- effective light blocking
- perhaps the lightest feeling sleep mask I've had - feather light - hardly notice them
- comfortable
- no seams
- adjustable and velcro so there's no pressure and you hardly know you're wearing them
- it's been my experience that light blocking is never 100% but these are the best I've tried so there it is. In my opinion, it's hard to achieve 100% - that's kind of a function of face structure and luck - you'd probably need a custom built mask or one that's so large it would be like a hood and uncomfortable in my opinion.
My wife recommended these and I think she is right - these are winners!

This blocks light really well due to the nose-covering design. HOWEVER, it also blocks my nose up and makes it hard to breathe. It exerts an ever-so-slight pressure on my nose that makes it harder to take a breath. ALSO due to the nose piece, it constantly slides UP and lets in light. Got this mask for a long plane ride and I'm using it for regular sleeping. It's very comfortable and even fits my tiny head. Although, I can see the need to add extra velco in the future if the strap becomes too stretched out and won't fit securly on my head.
I used to use the satin eye covers, but they got very hot and irritated my skin. This product barely touches the delicate eye-area and stays cool and dry.
Good price too. Even has a slight lavender scent to it.

This is a well made sleep mask. It features a wide elastic band that will not roll, and that is adjustable with a velcro closure. The eye cover part of the mask is a made of a molded foam material with space for the eyes to move during REM sleep. The mask is lightweight and breathes well. It took a couple nights to get used to the feel. It was a little uncomfortable in the nose initially, but I got used to the feeling of it and now find it very comfortable. I like the mask very much except for one thing: it lets light in too much light around the nose area. I've found one company on the net that claims 100% light blockage with most of their sleep masks, so I am planning on trying one of those. I only paid $12 for this mask including shipping, but in the end I want a mask that blocks out all light.
