Product Reviews of LifeSource UB-328 Wrist Auto Inflate Blood Pressure MonitorProduct Review: Unreliable Summary: 1 Stars
I am a young slender woman with skinny wrists, maybe that is the cause of the problem I have with this device. I have unstable blood pressure and this device has alot of difficulty reading my BP. I get alot of Err 1 or Err 2 when trying to get a reading even though I am perfectly still. When it actually CAN get a reading it is usually 10 points higher than my doctor's monitors. This is with new batteries and with the device strapped on as instructed.
I do not recommend it if your BP is constantly high and you keep a close eye on it. There are times I suddenly get a headache and when I try to get a reading the machine CONSTANTLY fails over and over again, on either hand, strapped tight or loose, doesnt seem to make a difference.
Product Review: Very easy to use Summary: 4 Stars
I looked at a lot of reviews before I purchased a home blood pressure monitor, and all the positive reviews of this one were right on. It is very easy to use, and has all the features I need. The cuff can slip off it inflates in the wrong position, but it's easy to fix. It appears to be accurate as well.
Product Review: Very good product Summary: 5 Stars
It does not fit all wrist sizes.
Still very useful and convinient.
Because of its compact size and carry box very handy in travelling also.
Product Review: Very pleased with this monitor Summary: 4 Stars
This is my 3rd wrist monitor and I read every one of the reviews before deciding to buy it. My first wrist monitor was a Mabis and it was deadly accurate so when it died, I bought another Mabis. I was never happy with it. I particularly wanted the irregular heartbeat feature on my next monitor. First time I used this LifeSource, my BP and heartrate were blissfully low and so it was each subsequent reading. Since I have had hypertension for years, I decided it probably was not reading correctly so I had two friends try it and each of their readings was also slightly lower than was typical of them, so I decided I would probably return it but first took it to a Dr's appt. to check it against the one they use. The readings were identical. I have since had a few normal/slightly elevated readings and am confident that this monitor is reading correctly. My doctor said that my newly helathy BP is from recent weight loss, not a faulty monitor. That said, I really like it. It has alerted me to an irregular heartbeat once, which I was pleased to note. All in all, it seems the vast majority of reviews were right. I recommend this monitor as good value for your money.
Product Review: Works as advertised - great value Summary: 4 Stars
I ordered another monitor from another dealer and it was DOA. Then I ordered this monitor and it continues to work well.
