The problem with these tongs is that there is NO tension in them, NONE. Once you go to grab something they don't spring back open. The locking device is also a huge problem. Why? Because it locks the tongs shut when you don't want it too. I bought this because it was cheap and had good reviews. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Buying these tongs makes as much sense as eating tomato soup with chop sticks.
