I ordered a large/firm Tush Cush for my car. I own an older car and the seats are very uncomfortable, especially since I had developed numbness in my right leg (due to back problems). The cushion makes me sit up higher in the seat, and I had to get used to that, but from day ONE, I have loved this cushion. I can get out of the car with such ease now and my leg has stopped hurting. It really helps with the discomfort when dealing with a bad back. The cushion is very firm (but not hard), so if you weigh under 175, a person might would like the regular Tush Cush.Product Review: Yes it is FIRM

This product is just as described. I only gave 4 stars b/c I think $40 is a lot to ask, however it seems to be the best cushion out there. I have had mine for almost a year and it is still very firm. This is high quality, high density foam no doubt so one could also argue that $40 is warranted as this will last a long, long time. I weigh 170 and bought this assuming the foam would wear out so I just knew I had to go with the firm cushion. I was wrong. It is still almost too firm for me. If you weigh less than 170-180 consider getting the regular cushion, this one really is for heavier people. I am considering getting an extra to leave in my car. I will probably not buy this FIRM cushion again, but instead get the cheaper model.Product Review: awesome support!

I am a holistic massage therapist and I reccommened this to MANY of my clients. It is soooooo important to get yourself in the right position for sitting for long periods of time. Most of my clients are sitting for their living and it is taking a toll on their bodies, for sure.
I have many of these seats and love them. I had a severe issue in my L-5 and S-1 disks, which had my right side from hip down to my ankle all pronated in and I was in severe pain with rolling spasms and discomfort sitting, standing and laying...i just sort of rolled arounnd for 2 weeks while I received chiropractic care, osteopathic care and cranial sacral care. I could NOT sit in my car for any peiod of time without screaming.
Car seats are THE worst design. These bucket type seats are all wrong, they slope in the wrong direction, cutting in at the sciatic nerve.
I foound the info for the tush cush and decided to try it. Im sooo glad I did! It made my body feel relaxed and supported. I love this product. I reccommend it for ANYONE who sits for any length of time in order to support your spine from furthur compaction. Then get yourself a nice inversion table to get upside down and help rejuvinate your disks with blood, circulation and cernovial fluid rehydration!!!
Or you can always do downward facing dog and forward bend yoga postures:-)

This was way better than my last cushion, which flattened out in 2 weeks. When I got this firm cushion I thought, "this is way too hard" but a few weeks later I can already feel it loosing its firmness. Unless you get a block get a block of wood shaped like a coccyx cushion, I think they all eventually will lose their shape. It's provided me some relief on my tail bone however.Product Review: extremely pleased

I am pregnant and bought this cushion to use mostly at work where I sit all day. In order to keep the baby positioned properly, I need to sit with my knees lower than my hips - and this cushion delivers. I read lots of reviews on lots of wedge cushions before purchasing this one. My cushion has not deflated in the least and is easily portable. I even use it in the car now. Definitely a great purchase.
