Product Reviews of Lansinoh 20435 Breastmilk Storage Bags, 25-Count Boxes (Pack of 4)Product Review: Leaked upon defrosting Summary: 1 Stars
At first, I thought these bags were great. However, after making the time to pump everyday for months, I found that 75% of these bags leaked upon defrosting. The seams on the edge of the bags split (or had holes), and my precious breastmilk leaked all over the fridge over and over again. I do not have a recomendation for a better product, but if you are considering using these or if you are currently using these, I would consider something else . These are extremely dissapointing.
Product Review: Leaking! Don't buy Summary: 1 Stars
These bags leak and are not worth buying. I've stored lots of milk, the first couple hundred ounces in the Lansinoh bags. I then switched to the milk trays for no other reason than they sounded like a good idea. Now when I go to thaw the bags I'm finding that a majority of them are leaking. I run them under warm water, cut the top off and put them in a ziploc bag to thaw overnight. I don't want to waste all of that milk that I spent pumping over the last few months!
Do not buy this brand of bags. I have the Sensible Lines milk trays which are pretty nifty! You freeze milk sticks in one ounce portions (we call them milk pops) and thaw them as you need them. It prevents a lot of waste. The only thing is that they aren't totally convenient when you thaw more than 5 or 6 sticks at a time. They don't fit in the bottle that great...
Product Review: Leaks Everywhere Summary: 1 Stars
I'd say about 1/3 of my bags leak. I've lost so much bmilk thawing out the baggies...enough to make any mom cry after all that hard work. I loved the bags going in b/c of the double ziplock on the top. I couldn't be more disappointed with this product now and will never use it again. It doesn't matter if we froze them flat, froze them "fat", froze in clumps with other bags, or froze them individually. Leaks, leaks, leaks. it doesn't matter if I thaw slowly in warm water, in hot water, at room temperature, or thaw in the fridge at its own pace. Leaks, leaks, leaks. So very disappointing, especially after investing in a deep freezer to hold everything.
Product Review: Leaks Leaks Leaks! Summary: 1 Stars
I usually use the Gerber Nuk bags, but purchased these when the store was out of the Nuk. Four out of five bags have leaked in the last day. I am not a happy mama.
Product Review: Leaks when frozen Summary: 1 Stars
I switched to these because they held 6oz but every one I've frozen so far has leaked - even if I thaw them in the fridge.
