Product Reviews of Lansinoh 20435 Breastmilk Storage Bags, 25-Count Box

Product Review: The Best Bags!
Summary: 5 Stars

These are the best bags. I was using the Gerber Storage bags which are great as well. But, these are even better because they have a double ziplock. It makes me feel better about posible leaking. They seem a thicker and they have an outside tab to write the date and amount of milk in the bag.

Product Review: The best bags on the market
Summary: 5 Stars

These are the absolute best bags on the market for milk storage, I would not trust any other bag for my "liquid gold"

Product Review: Won't use anything else
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought some of the medela bags thinking that they would work best being by the same people as my pump but boy was I wrong. I got a couple of these free with some breast pads and after using them I immediatly ran out to buy more. They are a little difficult to attach to a pump but I just use a twist tie and that holds them on pretty well. Also the medela bags only store 5 oz's and if you go anymore than that it is hard to close the bag without milk getting everywhere. I normally pump 6-7 oz and the Lansinoh bags will hold all of it with no problem. They are supposed to hold 6 oz but if you store them standing up you can get almost double that in them if you wanted to. I wouldn't go back to the other bags!

Product Review: the best on the market
Summary: 5 Stars

I must say these bags are great! My husband was shocked that I used the medela bags with twist ties b/c they weren't air tight. Of course! We ziplock our own things, why twist tie something as important as this? These bags have _2_ zippers. The only thing that I don't like is that sometimes with bags it looks like you've pumped more (in ounces) than you actually have once you pour it into a bottle, but that's the case for any bags.

Product Review: would give no stars, use cheap bottles
Summary: 1 Stars

my hubby and I never had any luck with any brand of storage bags. all of them leaked while thawing and we had trouble getting our daughter to take her bottle. we thought it was because she was used to being exclusively breastfed but then one day my husband tasted the milk...it tasted just like rubbing alcohol!!! it was gross. we immediately froze some milk in a boring old 99 cent bottle as an experiment: she took her bottle just fine and the milk tasted normal. we stocked up on the 3 packs of 4/5 ounce bottles from Evenflo and Gerber and sealing discs and froze milk in those. It worked wonderfully and when she was weaned we cleaned the bottles and stored them. we have a boy now that's a week old and we got out the bottles and sterilized them. works like a charm. they have already paid for themselves many times over since they're reusable.
