Product Reviews of Lansinoh 20435 Breastmilk Storage Bags, 25-Count BoxProduct Review: Customer Service great too! Summary: 5 Stars
These are the best bags on the market. If there are any issues that would come up, (i.e. bad batch of bags that leak), their customer service dept. is great to deal with and get replacements to you quickly.
Product Review: DO NOT USE THESES BAGS Summary: 1 Stars
I pumped for 7 months to make sure my baby had breastmilk till at least 1. I even bought a freezer just for the milk. These bags looked great so 90% of my milk about 6 months worth is in these bags, 50% of the bags i have defrosted so far have had a hole in the bottom. SOme of these bags only had 4 ozs in them so they were not over filled. I had them in ziploc freezer bags in a container to protect them.
I am so disapointed my baby has been suplinting formula because so many of the bags are brokken and useless. How can i trust that the milk is good.
I wased so much money on these and my childs health is at risk.
DO NOT USE THESE TERRIBLE BAGS
Product Review: Easy and Sturdy Summary: 5 Stars
These bags are the best for storing breastmilk. They are sturdy and stand up on their own when you intially pour your milk in. They have a double zip lock seal which comes in handy especially when you are trying to get as much air out of the bag before you freeze it. Trying to make the bags airtight takes a bit of practice but the bags are wonderful and after using these bags I would hesitate to try any others.
Product Review: I wouldn't use any other bags for freezing my liquid gold Summary: 5 Stars
I was exclusively pumping for 2 months, so breast milk bags were very important to me. The bags are made of double plastic, so they're relatively sturdy. Many other bags have a single layer of plastic. They also have a double ziplock seal, which is very useful for trying to get all the air out of the bag, and make an airtight seal, which is needed for freezing. It also allows them to become completely flat. Many other bags have ties, which are annoying to try to create an airtight seal and create a bunch at one end, so they don't stack flat.
The tab above the fill line is also an unexpectedly useful feature. When you have bags stacked, you can just flip through the tabs to see the dates rather than lifting each bag one by one to see what's written on the bag itself.
Product Review: Leaks Everywhere Summary: 1 Stars
I'd say about 1/3 of my bags leak. I've lost so much bmilk thawing out the baggies...enough to make any mom cry after all that hard work. I loved the bags going in b/c of the double ziplock on the top. I couldn't be more disappointed with this product now and will never use it again. It doesn't matter if we froze them flat, froze them "fat", froze in clumps with other bags, or froze them individually. Leaks, leaks, leaks. it doesn't matter if I thaw slowly in warm water, in hot water, at room temperature, or thaw in the fridge at its own pace. Leaks, leaks, leaks. So very disappointing, especially after investing in a deep freezer to hold everything.
