Customer Review: Does not absorb heavy leaks.

If you are at the beginning of your nursing, I would not use these because they will not absorb heavy leaks. I would use one of the disposables or one that is plastic lined in the beginning. After about 3 months, you will not leak when you have let down. So, after that, I'd recommend using these for light leaks.

Reuseable Nursing PadFor breastfeeding mothers who experience moderate leakage problems, these nursing pads protect clothes from breast milk stains, and are soft and comfortable against skin. Made of several layers of 100-percent cotton fabric, the pads collect moisture before it soaks all the way through. They are reusable and can go right in the washer and dryer with the rest of the laundry.
