I tried several other brands of nursing pads, but they couldn't handle my heavy leaking. I like the big size of the Lansinoh ones, and they are perfect for heavy leakers like me! Other brands are softer, but they can't handle the heavy leaks and my bra and shirt would end up wet. I'll be using these for a very long time, since they are the best at handling the heavy leaks.Product Review: Must have for nursing moms

When I had my first baby, I originally wanted to use washable/re-usable pads because they are better for the environment, but I learned really fast that they only were good for a short amount of time and tended to leak. When I tried a few of the disposable pads, these proved to be the best at staying in place and preventing leaks. They are comfortable and easy to use and can be worn over night without a problem. If you buy them here at Amazon.com, you have the option of using "Subscribe and Save" which will save you an extra 15% AND you can have them shipped right to your door on a regular basis! (a real life-safer for busy moms!) Buying them through Subscribe and Save you also get 3 boxes per shipment, so you will always have them on hand. I love my Lansinoh nursing pads and don't know what I'd do without them! They're especially great for the newborn stage, when your supply isn't quite regulated and some moms leak quite heavily.
The slight curve to the pad helps them fit properly in your bra without bunching up (like some of the flat pads do), and the gel is super-absorbent. I don't think I've ever actually leaked while wearing these (and for me, that's saying something!). The pads are also quite thin, and I don't have issues with them showing through my shirt.
The individual wrappers are a bit of a pain, and seem rather wasteful (I hate excessive packaging!), but I suppose if you're putting some of these in your purse or diaper bag, it comes in handy.

These are the only disposable breast pads I bother with now as this is my third time breast feeding. They are by far the best. I have no problem with beading but that could be because I change them often enough that does not happen. I don't like the feeling of wet ones even though they would not leak.
