Product Review: It absorbs better than a diaper!!

This little pad absorbs bottomlessly. When I had my son, he was in the NICU for a week, and because he was being fed formula, he would refuse to be nursed. Consequently, my milk would back up and it wasn't fun for me. Nevertheless, there's just one thing that I've noticed never occurred to me, even without me noticing it at all... no milk, no stains, no nothing. One of the days my son would refuse being nursed, I went back to my room and took a long needed nap. When I woke up, I walked around like normal until I jumped into the shower and realized that the nursing pads were so heavy and full of milk, I was in absolute shock! The entire time, my breasts were dry, there was no moisture around, nothing... just heavy nursing pads that needed obvious changing. Unfortunately for me, my son missed that train at the height of things (by the time we were ready to pump, that wagon had already left for me), but I wore these pads without worry during the times the milk was overflowing. I gave a box of these to each of my pregnant girlfriends so that they'll try it. They are as pleasantly shocked as I was!!Product Review: Lansinoh - The best nursing pads

My wife has tried Lansinoh, Medela, and Advent nusing pads.
Out of the three, she thought the Lansinoh and Medela pads were equivalent and that the Advent pads were the worst when it came to absorbancy. She averages about 2-3 nursing pads per day.
This three box deal on Amazon is definitely cheaper than buying a single box at Target, especially if you plan on nursing for a long time. Just plan ahead to account for the shipping time so you don't run out prematurely.

I tried a couple of brands at first (whatever I had a coupon for) thinking that disposable nursing pads were all the same - NOT SO. These are by far the best. Here are the features I Love!
1) Individually packaged, handy for stuffing in purse/diaper bag. Plus, the plastic wrap is recyclable, which makes me feel better.
2) Holds a lot of liquid. I have a problem with leaking - a LOT, and these pads hold the liquid so I don't have to worry about leaking on my clothes.
3) Thin - though you still have to wear a padded bra so they don't show at all.
4) Big disc. Some of the others I tried were small, so there was more chance of leaking.
5) Nice material. The material on Johnson's brand actually STUCK to me, which was very painful when I was already sensitive. These don't stick and they are soft.
In all - these are the only brand I will continue to purchase while I nurse! Oh, and this package from Amazon is a good deal too!

I never tried any other kind. I've never had a problem with leakage and I've exclusively breastfed my baby who is just turning 6 mo old. Easy to open packages and fit perfectly in bra cups.
