Customer Review: Caution for post-menopausal women w/ soy issues

I learned several years ago that I cannot do soy-based supplements: HOT FLASHES. I started this supplement at just 1 gel (2K IUs) in the morning. I noticed I was having more hot flashes at night, but thought it was another supplement and the hot flashes were somewhat eleviated by taking melatonin. I decided to up the D3 to 8-10K IUs a day since it has been noted on acne dot org as helpful with acne and I have been getting cystic acne on my chin. Not a good idea...HOT FLASHES galore. Finally I looked at the bottle and saw the primary ingredient is soybean oil. So for folks like me who can't handle soy (phytoestrogen), look for a formulation that is soy-free. In hindsight, I can track my cystic acne to being worse when I have been taking (Estroven) or ingesting more soy (protein bars).
