While I'm tempted to try the Kirkland brand without the enteric coating to save a few bucks, I think this product is the safer buy to avoid fishy aftertaste. When I smelled the capsules there was a faint fish odor, but I didn't taste any when or after taking it. The rather large size of the pills was not an issue for me at all - goes down easy - but could be for some. I'm glad this is a Prime-eligible item! Would be great if it was added to the Subscribe-and-Save program. Price is competitive with other enteric fish oil pills. Thanks, Amazon.Product Review: Easy way to get Omega 3!

No fishy burps! It is awesome. My eye dr recommened I take Omega 3's for keeping my eyes well lubricated. I had lasik surgery and they tell all patients to take a supplement. This has worked wonderfully. I will keep taking for the rest of my life.Product Review: Love the one-per-day aspect

I don't necessarily mind the traditional gelatin caps you can find in any drugstore -- a fish burp here and there isn't going to ruin my day. So the fact that these softgels really do eliminate that minor inconvenience with their enteric coating is a bonus, but not really a selling point. Also, I think the vanilla scent is unnecessary. However, what I really like about these is that they contain 1200 mg per softgel, meaning a regular daily dose is only one, as opposed to, say, three or four. The fewer pills I have to take a day, the better. And since I have psoriatic arthritis, my recommended dose is far in excess of that for people without rheumatological issues: three to four of THESE is FAR preferable to, say, 12 of the traditional capsules! Anyone who is in search for quality tablets for EFA daily supplements, this is it. Although the tablets are fairly large, they are easy to swallow with water. The one-a-day aspect is fantastic. You do not get the notorious fish-breath smell as with other products. For the price and amount of quality tablets you get, this is unbeatable. Product Review: Best Fish Oil we have ever used.
