I purchased the product and the delivery was prompt. I immediately started taking the pills BD. The first night, I slept better and since then, my back pain has not been as severe; I also sleep better. First, I understand that this is just one report; you need to have a real well-designed double-blind test to have any sort of proof, but...I have had a lot of problem with my lower back because of deteriorating joints. My doctor suggest that I try out this compound. Kirkland was rated tops for getting the right amount of active ingredient etc in Consumer Reports, so I tried a bottle. After several months, my back is noticably better. Could be a coincidence, but I don't think so.
As to the product itself, as someone else commented, the pills are pretty big. Remember that you need to take 2 per day to get the recommended dose. Oddly, they smell a bit like chocolate. Not bad!

I began supplementing with this product in June '09 because my knees were starting to grind and my GP recommended glucosamine.
I chose the Kirkland brand because I trust the brand and because it contains chondroitin sulfate.
I wasn't sure it was working, though, until about a month ago when I noticed that my knees were not grinding as I walked down the stairs.
The formula works, just don't expect results right away.
Other reviewers have complained about the size of the pills. Yes, they are large but you can cut them in half if you have trouble swallowing large pills.
Also, and this is just my opinion, the vanilla flavoring can be a tad overwhelming. I wish they'd go back to non-flavored pills.
BTW, I'm glad to see that Amazon sells Kirkland products now.

I love this product. After my knee surgery for torn cartilage, my knee pain got worse. However, now, as long as I use this product, I have no problems whatsoever. My knee feels just as healthy as the other knee. One other hint: If you have knee pain, try walking on uneven ground (beach, park). That will help a lot.
