Been using Kirkland glucosamine for over nine months now and have yet to see any noticeable difference. I still have ankle and knee pain. Maybe because I am an active person and this is not strong enough for my joints and lifestyle. I play basketball every week, go to the gym and sometime mountain biking. I give it a two star because "maybe" it is preventing my condition from getting worst.Product Review: False Description

The label on the bottle would lead you to believe that each of the 190 "Extra Strength" tablets contain 1500mg of Glucosamine and 1200mg of Chondroitin Sulfate. I've been using this product for 2+ years now for my Knee and Joint pain.
This morning I heard about a study done in Europe (Sweden or Netherlands) on BBC that found that their test of 180 adults showed no difference between a control group taking Glucosamine and another group taking a placebo... both groups showed the same improvement.
So keep that in mind... but the study only mentioned "back" only and not other joints.
And the prices of these pills have steadily been going up & up... Costco was selling these for two bottles of 180 for about $25 and the other day I paid $23.99 for a bottle of $190. And yes, EXACT same strength. Costco 'Membership has it's privileges', I guess.
I hope now that some of the hype for this stuff goes away, the prices will become more reasonable again?
