Product Review: miracle tape

Lance Armstrong calls this stuff "miracle tape" and he's right. There are several things this tape claims to do. Its elastic properties supposedly help lift the skin from around your muscles, allowing lymph fluid to drain waste products more easily, speeding healing. Also, when placed on certain points, it helps realign muscles, temporarily relieving pressure on stiff joints. It also acts as a kind of gentle compression tape with just the right amount of elasticity. Even if these claims seem too good to be true you cant discount the increased level of confidence you get from having your sore muscles securely taped--you feel as though you cant injure yourself, that you're protected from pulling or straining anything, and this increased confidence stops you from running improperly to try to "avoid" pain. I've got a neuroma in my foot and a three inch piece running from over my metatarsals to the top of my ankle stops the throbbing foot pain I usually get after a few hours in a tight pair of shoes. I love this tape--I bought a giant roll after spending a small fortune on a lot of little rolls. There is a somewhat comparable product, "physio-tape" that is slightly cheaper but I don't think it is as elastic as kinesio tape and it hurts when you pull it off--Kinesio comes off painlessly. The long-lasting elasticity of Kinesio tape makes this product such a "miracle." I can't gush enough about it. Love it. Love it. Love it! (shop around though, and make sure you look at shipping costs. Amazon's price isnt the best but they're not charging that much for shipping)
