When full of cards, these card holders tend to tip over easily...not a good thing if you don't want your opponents to see your hand. They do grip and release the cards well enough. We wound up gluing the card holder to a base to prevent it from tipping. We would rather have been forewarned. Would not have purchased these if we had known.Product Review: works for me

these are exactly as depicted online. Rather large unless you are playing with multiple decks.My 4 yr old granddaughter loved them when we played go fish. It was hard for her little hands to hold all the cards so these worked great and the fact that they sit up on the table by themselves was even better! Would be great for canasta or any multiple deck game or for those with carpal tunnel or arthritis that makes holding cards difficult.
