The zafu is a round traditional meditation cushion with pleated sides. The cover is made of cotton twill fabric. We hand stuff our zafus with natural kapok so that they will not collapse after a few sittings. All our zafus are double-stitched for extra strength and come with a carrying handle. Each zafu is approximately 14" in diameter and 8" in height and weight just over 3.5 lbs (it is one of the heaviest on the market.) The zabuton is filled with natural kapok. The kapok is packed to provide solid support, and yet is soft and comfort. The outer cover is made of cottton twill fabric and has a zipper along one length so that it can be easily removed and washed. Inside the cover, the kapok is enclosed in a casing.
