I must admit that I was anxious to try this. Sure sounded interesting because as we all know, sometimes an encounter can leave you feeling very unfulfilled...
The first time I tried the product, I just kept applying it until I felt something. It took ~5 drops. Ok, so I learned that it takes a few (10 +/- minutes to feel the sensation it causes). Then it took a shower and a half-hour or so to completely wear off.
The sensation it gives is like cinnamon oil....not a tingle, and for me, didn't heighten overall sensitivity at all. Because it is to be applied ONLY externally (clitoris) and not other places, it depends on what you like....
The second time I used this product, I ended up applying three drops. This makes the product rather pricey because this container only holds about 20 drops...
I can't highly recommend it, and I probably won't buy this again, but it was a fun experiment.

My wife was somewhat hesitant to try this, but since we have used KY Jelly for many years, she agreed. So she applied a small amount of it to the "sensitive spot". She felt some mild sensation that she described as sort of burning, not warm, but sort of like a tingling effect similar to the after taste of eating spicy food. She says it is difficult to describe the sensation in words - you just have to try it for yourself.
The second time, she said she did not want to use it again. But with some coaxing, she agreed to give it another try. This time she decided it was better than she remembered. After several more instances, she wants to use it every time. Now she says she definitely likes it and it absolutely adds to her pleasure. It just took some acclimation to overcome a initial predisposition against using it.

This is the 2nd time I've purchased this l-arginine based topical gel for my wife. It definitely gives her a heightened experience for her clitorally stimulated orgasm.
Just massage it on, do some other things to let it marinate (sorry, just the words I've got at this time, but it's describing it perfectly), then come back to it with either oral or vibrating stimulation, and vwallah, happy wife!!!
A happy wife = a happy home!!!
