I am currently 8 1/2 months pregnant, and my job is such that I am on my feet pretty much all day long. These stockings have been a lifesaver! They work very well to keep my ankle swelling to a minimum, if any at all, throughout the day. That in turn means my feet don't hurt at the end of the day. I bought a few pairs so I can rotate them, as I sleep in them as well.
The stockings are well-made, comfortable, and are not overly warm. They are a bit difficult to get on and off, but that's because they're a snug fit! The elastic cuff is strong and I never have to reposition it.
These are GREAT for pregnancy edema! I highly recommend them.

I compared these with a pair of stockings with 8-15 mmHg compression by wearing one type of stocking on each foot. I was able to tell a big difference in how my feet felt! At the end of a busy 12 hour shift, the foot that was wearing these Jobst stockings was barely sore. I didn't notice that they made me terribly hot either. I'm 5'3" and have pitting edema on my shins, ankles and feet. These socks definitely help, but don't get my legs all the way back to normal either. I got the size M and they fit me perfectly, tho I think the size S would also fit me and possibly have a bit more compression, which would be a good thing. My calf fit in the size S range, but my ankle (while swollen) fit in the size M, so I got the M. If I had got the petite version of this I don't think they would have gone all the way up to my knees comfortably. I wear these almost every day, and really need to get a few more pairs, since it is sort of a hassle to wash them every day. The are very soft, stretchy, normal looking and don't bind at the tops at all. I have absolutely no discomfort while wearing them. I just wish they came in more than just nude, black and white. I want ones that have stripes! :D
