I bought this organic coconut oil to use as a body cream. It is spectacular. I use a spoon to get a small amount out. As soon as you touch it, it begins to melt and has a wonderful light coconut fragrance. It feels nice and absorbs rapidly into your skin. Obviously, this is a solid at room temperture, but quickly melts into a very nice oil. I am sure that if you were to cook with this, it would be great too. This is a great deal for the price, and was delivered quickly.

Jarrow FORMULAS Extra Virgin Organic Coconut Oil from thefresh flesh of the coconut palm fruit; (Cocus nucifera) is unrefined and expeller-pressed in a controlled; indoor environment. This specific process does not utilize any solvents and preserves the volatile compounds responsible for imparting the rich; familiar flavor of coconuts. Coconut oil is a source of medium chain triglycerides (MCTs); such as lauric acid (C-12) and caprylic acid (C-8).Coconut oil is stable even during long periods of storage.
