Product Reviews of J.A. Henckels Barber Shears with Finger, 6"Product Review: Great quality and price Summary: 5 Stars
Well, this is a pair of scissors, so there's not much to say about their operation. However, this is a very good pair of scissors at a very good price.
They are light and operate smoothly. The quality of their construction is obvious the first time you pick them up. However, they are much less expensive than some other scissors of equal quality.
I'm very happy with them, and I'd happily buy them again.
Product Review: Great value Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased these as a gift for our daughter to use to groom her dogs. Very nice shears! I was very happy with the quality. They are a good value.
Product Review: Very good for us novices Summary: 4 Stars
Just getting into haircutting for our children and this is a great scissors for the price and for how well it cuts. The finger thingy helps with control and the blade is nice and sharp -- I wouldn't have thought it was so critical until our 'first haircut attempt' took much longer than it should have. Our previous scissors, which came in a box set with the buzzers we picked up locally, kept slipping and not cutting the hair at all (the blade kept twisting and it just didn't seem sharp enough). We like Henckels knives and this met our expectations for that brand.
Product Review: poor performance Summary: 1 Stars
i am passing on my wifes comment since she uses these scissors to cut my hair. the easiest way i can describe her reaction is to say she is patiently waiting for Stoddards - a Boston store specializing in high quality cutlery and accessories - to re-open so she can rush down and by a real pair of barbers shears.
Product Review: scissors cut hair well Summary: 4 Stars
These barber scissors are sharp and cut hair very well--much better than our old pair that had a tendency to just push the hair aside. They also have a handy storage case (okay, so it's plastic) to protect the scissors in storage. It's the overall scissor length that is 6", so in some cases scissors with longer blades may work better.
