Hip and knee arthritis and allergy to public pool chemicals had sidelined any aerobic workouts for me until I purchased this unit. I set it on a low table to use with my upper body and am finally able to get my heart and respiration rate cranked again! It's light enough to move easily which also accounts for a lack of steadiness as you tire and begin to drag on it. The resistance knob is easy to use and effective. The machine is quiet and doesn't take up a lot of space and since this kind of exercise is dreadfully boring it works well while watching tv or listening to music.Product Review: best exercise machine for small apartments

I bought this for my mom, it works just fine, the only comment I have is that this exerciser is much taller than the one she had before and you need to sit on a dining room chair or stool in order to work it properly however if you are sitting lower you can still use it but it works better if you are higher up
