I bought this exerciser for my elderly mother. She used to use a treadmill but I feel safer with this unit because I won't have to worry about her falling. It seems well built and is very quiet, and the pedaling action is smooth. It assembled easily. At first I was a little confused by the adjustment knob as turning it didn't seem to affect the resistance, but then I realized I had to rotate it multiple times to increase tension. My mom and I are both happy with it so far.
