Product Review: I love my pedal exerciser!!!!

Because of foot issues, I have had to stop walking on the treadmill. So I decided to try this pedal exerciser and I am so glad I did. The Isokinetics is quiet and smooth and just the right tension for me. I love the fact that I can just sit down, watch TV or read and get great results on my legs and butt. I kept reading where other machines move around etc.when you get going and I do not have that problem with this one. I LOVE IT!!!!Product Review: I won't use it again

I recently ordered an item from Amazon. I did it on-line and I'm very disappointed.
I wanted a Styrofoam exercise device that is half cylindrical in shape. In the display it's called a half-round. I chose the shape from those portrayed in the catalog. One half round, 36"long and the curved portion is either 6" in diameter or 3" in radius, whichever way you choose to describe the curved portion.
What I received was a full-round cylinder that is 36" long and 6" in diameter. I'm not going to try to return it. Once bit, twice shy is my opinion.
From now on I will only order books from Amazon. At least none of my book orders have yielded me something I can't use.
I sure wouldn't recommend ordering Styrofoam forms on-line.

Wow! I have arthritis in my knee. I bought this item after spending several weeks exploring exercise bikes and then pedal exercisers. I found exercise bikes to either be loud or expensive, and all seemed to take up more room then I was willing to give up. In addition, reasonably priced bikes were generally upright types that were hard on the glutes and created potential balance problems. Recumbent bikes that offered magnetic resistance were very expensive. When I first stumbled upon this product here, I was skeptical. How could a magnetic pedal exerciser be worthwhile at such a low price. As I read the reviews, I began to be more of a believer. I have found Amazon reviews to be right on in the past. Sure enough, this exerciser does everything it says it will do. Very quiet and small enough to move around, yet perfect for my needs. I can't say if this would be perfect for someone looking for a professional aerobic workout, but after 2 weeks, my knee feels much better already.Product Review: Isokinetics Magnetic Pedal Exerciser

I really like this for my purpose. It sits to the right of my desk chair, on the carpet. So when I'm on the phone or reading, I can pedal instead of just sitting like a statue. I can pedal longer than when I first started too. It's very quiet and I can adjust the tension. I solved the sliding of the thing by putting the curly side of self adhesive velcro onto its feet, and since it sits on carpet it stays put. Product is well worth the money. Great for seniors, people with arthritis and injury rehabilitation. You can work up quite a sweat with this unit, I was surprised. I bought it to help rebuild strenght in my arms and legs. Has a tendency to lift and move around a little at speeds over 13 mph or if you are peddling in the elongated positon stretching your legs straight out. I just set it up agaist the coffee table or base board to minimize movement of the unit.
