Product Review: A great way to exercise when you need "no impact" seated comfort.

I got this in preparation for and mobility after a knee replacement. It is solid and heavy enough to stay put when you pedal fast, and it works well. My physical therapist was pleased that I could make use of this between visits to the therapy clinic. It has many levels of firmness so you can easily build up strength as you progress. I love this pedal exerciser. Smooth pedaling, and so quiet that others in the room don't even know I'm "working out" when they are watching TV. I'd buy another for my desk if my desk was a bit higher! It does tend to move a bit more than I'd like if I'm not lined up right or I get a bit enthusiastic in my pedaling, but still a quality product.Product Review: Decent, but flimsy

I've been using the pedal exerciser for just about a month now and it works mostly as advertised. It's not very strong, but is great for someone with a knee injury like me who is trying to re-build up lost strength. If you're thinking of using this as a replacement for a good bike ride, look for something else.
One warning on the poor construction: within the first week, the knob on the front broke off. I had loosened the strength for my girlfriend to try out and when I retightened it, the knob came right off. I've found that I can adjust the tension using a wrench, but it's simply too expensive to ship back and get replaced.

The mini cycle works as advertised. The unit is extremely quiet and offers easy control of the resistance. I would suggest that there be a way to lock the resistance knob in a position as it moves rather easily. That is the only complaint. A worthwhile purchase.Product Review: Great Excersiser

I really like this little pedal exerciser. There is minimal assembly and it is really easy to do. It truly is whisper quiet. Sometimes it makes a slight hissing sound but nothing major. I actually use mine for exercising my legs and arms. I sit on the floor with it and use it for my arms. That really does deliver a great workout believe it or not. I also find that pedaling it on the floor is easier than in a chair since it tends to move just a bit when I'm sitting in a chair. I suppose if you use a pilates mat or towel it won't move as much.
The only drawback is that the resistance isn't enough sometimes, especially for my legs. It definitely gives me a workout but I wish it were just slightly more challenging. Other than that, this is a great product and I think it's worth the money.
