My son has had a problem with ear wax build up to the point where sounds are muffled we have tried washing out his ears and it helps, but he swears his ears are much better after candling and they feel better for months. I know there is some gunk when you are done but anyone could tell the difference between the brown thick gunk and the powdery light substance to know which is ear wax and which isn't.
