This incense holder is very pretty, and the five slots for incense is both aesthetically pleasing on the base and also useful as I'll explain in a moment. The product I received didn't have the carving depicted in the picture, but the overall shape, the five incense slots and the Yin and Yang symbol all look the same. I really like this, and I think you will too; however, the size is too small to catch the falling ash from a standard incense stick and as such you either need another holder underneath it or (as I found works quite nicely) simply break your stick in half and place in two of the holders to burn. Once this is over you will need to tap the holder on a counter or trash can to get the remaining, unburned portion of the incense sticks out of the base, but I haven't had a problem yet - they are held securely and perfectly upright but with a slight tap afterwards will fall out and open the base for new incense.
This product has a couple of draw backs, but they are minor and for the price and aesthetics I'd definitely recommend this for a nice room decoration and for incense burning.
