Customer Review: 72 hours of labor using it and would do it again

I like to be in control of things and I don't like to use medicine unless absolutely necessary. I new from the beginning that I wanted to have a natural unmedicated birth. After reviewing different techniques I chose this one. My husband wasn't very supportive, he doesn't believe in hypnosis and just kept listening to the horror stories of his sister and our friends. I enjoyed how this program forced me to relax every day. I had no problems with my pregnancy at all and found the whole 9 months very relaxful and enjoyful. I went into labor a week after my due date. I stayed at home using the techniques for 2 1/2 days (1 1/2 of those days the contractions were 6 minutes apart lasting a good 2 minutes). After that long though I called the doctor, worried that something might be wrong. When I arrived at the hospital I was exhausted and only at a 4 so I did get an epidural just because I couldn't continue the hypnosis due to lack of sleep and exhaustion. I hated every minute of the epidural. I hated not feeling my legs. After 72 hours of labor my daughter was born. She is a very easy going 3 year old now and was a very easy baby. I believe that the hypnosis and relaxation during pregnancy had a lot to do with it. I will definitly use it again and next time I will stick it out and not get the epidural. One side note: make sure you have a doctor who is open to the technique and make sure you have someone to support you, even if you need to hire a doula. My husband admits he was wrong now but when we have another one I'm hiring a doula. Long story sorry. Bottom line Its great
