I recently purchased a Hugo folding cane after having knee surgery. I purchased it to take on a trip to Portugal. Although I am walking fine after my surgery the cane was extremely helpful in tackling the cobblestone streets and sidewalks I encountered. Without the cane it was difficult to deal with the uneven surfaces. I used it my entire trip whenever I was out and about but didn't need it on smooth floors.
I would highly recommend it to anyone needing aid in walking. The light weight and folding capability made it easy for traveling.
