Product Reviews of Huggies Snug & Dry DiapersProduct Review: For sizes 1-2: Pampers, for sizes 3-, Huggies. Use nothing else. Summary: 5 Stars
I'm sure if you ask 10 parents about diapers, you'll get 10 answers. But my wife and I and our family have all come to the same conclusions, so I'll share it here:
1. For sizes 1-2, get Pampers.
2. For sizes 3 and on, get Huggies.
3. Never use cheap diapers.
4. Buy from Amazon.
All of this is for one big reason: leaks. For little babies, Pampers fit better and don't leak. For bigger ones, Huggies fit better. All others will work find until one day when you get a big, nasty leak and then you're left wondering if cleaning it up is really worth the $5 you saved.
Amazon has great prices, and with the discount for "subscribe and save", it's even cheaper and more convenient. We don't even worry about buying diapers anymore. They just come like clockwork, just when we need them, and they're cheaper than anywhere else that I've found.
By the way, the Huggies we use now have really cool "sticky parts": they only stick to the diaper, and they can be taken off and replaced several times. It's amazing, and makes a big difference when your little on is wiggling around and it takes a few tries to get the diaper on right.
Product Review: Great product but don't buy it here. Summary: 4 Stars
It is a great diaper. We tried pampers -meh, they leaked, luvs-HORRIBLE, and were buying the nicer huggies for a while, as they were very form fitting and never leaked. Due to money, we downgraded to the basic huggies and they are awesome diapers, don't leak and absorb very well. I would recommend these to anyone.
Having said this, you can get 156 size five Huggies at Samsclub for $37.66. It's well worth going into the store for.
Product Review: Hate these diapers Summary: 1 Stars
We've been using Costco diapers for 18 months but got a good deal and couldn't pass it up. I'm sorry I did because these diapers leak. They have too much papery stuff around the edges and too little padded area to absorb pee. It's also hard to get these put on correctly because there's so much papery edging. I'll never buy them again.
Product Review: Huggies Win everytime Summary: 4 Stars
Not only does this product fit better it also feels better to the touch and does not bunch up or leave any marks on my daughters back side. The nice thing is they added the stretchy tabs (I think they are called gigglastic?) that make the fit much more customizable, so virtually any sized baby can have a custom fit. I have tried Pampers with my daughter and not only do they feel "plastic-like" on the outer cover, they just didn't fit that well and it was harder to customize. It might be a preference, but my preference is that Huggies will win everytime!
Product Review: Huggies are the best for us Summary: 5 Stars
It really depends on the kid. Pampers give my kids rashes every place the diaper touches. It looks like they have a red diaper on when they are naked. Pampers have a perfume in them that my kids are very allergic to. Diapering is really a trial and error process. Huggies are more hypoallergenic than pampers...but no one can really tell any one which will be better on their kid. We have tried so many brands it is silly. We prefer Huggies. We also have to use perfume free lotion...so you really just have to try them and see.
If you are trying to decide on a brand I recommend buying a small pack at the grocery store before stalking up on any brand. See how they work for your child. Then stalk up. Amazon prices are grate and with the automatic shipment with 15% off and free shipping they beat Costco and Sams by far!
