Product Reviews of Huggies Pull-Ups Training Pants with Learning Designs, Girls, 3T-4T, 40-CountProduct Review: Great pull ups Summary: 5 Stars
These pull-ups worked great for my daughter. During the potty-training period, she could use a single pull up the entire day (unless she wet it), and it still looked decent at the end of the day. This is unlike the Easy-ups, which we tried first. With the easy-ups, the sides would tear down after a few times of pulling the diaper down and up (for using the potty). My daughter also loved the "princess" figures... The only downsize: I think these pull-ups may be less absorbant than the easy-ups, so if your child "misses" a lot, this may not be the best option.
Product Review: Huggies Pull- Ups Help Parents Train their Toddlers Summary: 4 Stars
Huggies Pull Ups with Learning Designs for Girls are a popular brand of pull- up and they are the brand most often purchased by my household. These pull- ups are available almost everywhere and they have enough positive qualities to rank them among the better pull- up training pants on the market.
These training pants are designed to help children make the transition from diaper to toilet and they succeed at most levels. They have properties that make them like underwear, such as the partially elastic waistband and the sealed sides, and this will make them a hit with most youngsters. Toddlers will enjoy wearing something that makes them feel like they are growing up and parents will appreciate the enthusiasm. The cute design is made with little girls in mind and most will love the Disney characters.
Nice designs and pre- sealed sides are nice, but what matters most in a pair of training pants is their effectiveness. Huggies Pull Ups with Learning Designs for Girls offer a design that fades when the pants become wet and this is supposed to serve as a signal to children that it's time to run to the restroom. The problem is that the fading is only slight and, most importantly, children don't notice. The wet feeling is more likely to motivate, but once the wetness is felt, by this time, it is too late. Children now need a brand new pull- up.
As for wetness protection, Huggies pull- ups are pretty good. One nice extra is the leak guard. This leak guard consists of a second level of elastic protection that keeps liquid inside the pull up. For nighttime use, there may not be enough protection present, but for daytime use, Huggies Pull Ups with Learning Designs for Girls offer a good deal of protection from wetness. They also offer Velcro on the sides, making it easy to remove the pull- ups and re- seal, if necessary.
Huggies Pull Ups with Learning Designs for Girls are less than perfect, but they are still a good product that helps make a parent's life a little easier. They help children slowly make the change to actual underwear and they relieve parents of some of the stress associated with toilet training.
Product Review: Much better than Pampers Easy Ups Summary: 5 Stars
My daughter was a Pampers baby. We had initially tried Huggies and Luvs when she was really little and I liked the Pampers the best.
However, when the time came for training pants I hated the Pampers Easy Ups. When your child poops in their training pants, and they will, it is a lot easier to get the Huggies off without making a big mess. The sides pull apart. Pampers Easy Ups don't do that.
One thing I was confused about when I first bought these is that the sizing is totally different from diapers. They follow toddler clothing sizes! My daughter was in size 5 diapers when she moved to training pants. But she needed a 2T-3T size training pant.
Product Review: Very good training pant. Summary: 5 Stars
This training pant is working well for my daughter. We only use it at night, and as long as she uses the bathroom before she goes to bed, the pants won't leak. They are easy to get on and off and my daughter loves the designs!
Product Review: unhappy Summary: 1 Stars
To think of all the nonsense that is poured into making these things and what it does to our children as they wear them on their skin!
