Product Review: Not worth the money
Summary: 1 Stars

I have a Homedic foot spa that recently broke after 15 years of use. The same model is still available and I was going to buy it but noticed that this spa actually heated up the water and got good reviews, so I decided to give it a try. Here's my review:

Water Heat Up: On the plus side, it does heat up the water, but it takes a loooooong time. The Homedic does not heat it up, but it does maintain whatever temperature you put in there. It's a lot faster to just pour in hot water from the faucet than it is to wait an hour for the spa to heat up. The other negative to the heating is that the Water Heat up only works if you have the bubbles on. I like to add foot salts to the water. If you have the bubbles on, it foams up and gets all over the place. So, I kind of have to choose between heating up the water or adding foot salts and that defeats the purpose of a foot spa, in my opinion. It's also very noisy.

Toe touch controls - you better have big strong toes - it isn't easy to operate.

Water Jet: Over rated. It doesn't do much and you have the same foaming problem if you add anything to the water. You also have to fill the tank up to the max or it splashes all over the place. It works fine as long as you don't add the bubbles (which you have to add if you want to heat up the water). If you combine the jet with the bubbles, the water gets all over the floor and makes a big puddle. Not a good idea if you have wood floors or carpeting. It's also a hazard, in my opinion.

Foot attachments: They're alright. The best one is the massaging one. The others are pretty useless because you can only really access the middle of your foot, so a brush doesn't really make sense. You also have to make sure that you position your foot properly so that it turns and the attachment doesn't pop off.

Infrared: It heats up and works but it is positioned right behind the foot attachment, which goes off if you put any pressure on it. Ideally I would like to rest my foot on the heat, but the foot attachment prevents me from doing so.

My rating for this is low because of the price. I would have given it more stars if it were priced at $40 to $50. I really don't think that it's much better than the other ones out there in th $30 range. Maybe it's worth a little more because it heats up the water, but I don't think it's worth the $85 - $100 price tag. I will probably be returning it and getting a less expensive model that I can pour hot water in to.

Product Review: Not worth the money
Summary: 1 Stars

This foot bath has a lot of options, but other than a machine-like vibrating massage, it's better to spend $30 on a foot bath that is sure to be disappointing, rather than spending $85 and be just as disappointed. The water temperature is tepid, only slightly warm. The infrared heat pad provides no more warmth. The "pedicure center" and "pressure activated center" are the same thing -- pumice, brush and a couple of small round noded attachments are supposed to be activated by a toe touch. Actually, to use one of these small attachments so that it doesn't spin off of the little place it's supposed to attached to, just above the infrared "pad," it requires twisting your body and foot into an abnormal position to keep the attachment from disengaging and flying off. It takes almost no time to remove calluses and dry skin with a pumice stone, that costs no more than $3, and if I want to soak my feet in something other than barely warm water, the bathtub does the trick. This product was a complete waste of money.

Product Review: i love it!
Summary: 5 Stars

i had another foot spa (the homedics bubble bliss plus) that i bought for about $30 and it said it heated the water but as soon as the bubbles were turned on, the water would get cold. then after 2 yrs it started leaking from the bottom. i wanted to replace it with one which actually did what it claimed it would (heat up the water). this product does just that. it takes warm water and makes it hot in just a few minutes and the bubbles and jets are great and relaxing. the only negatives, are the attachments and loud noise. the attachments do not stay put and i dont think are very necessary. but other than that this product is worth the money!

Product Review: wonderful

I recieved this as a gift from my husband, and I have to say that I am very impressed with it. Not only does the water not get cold, it heats up so hot, that sometimes you have to turn it down. The cheaper counterparts dont even compare. All of the massages pieces and pumice stone type things are great too. You will want to use this every night. I had my reservations about the high price, but honestly its great, enjoy, and try not to fall asleep.
