Product Review: An Adequate Back and Neck Massager

This is an ok massager for a quick fixer upper for your lower back and your neck.
Don't be mistaken by its "pillow" name though as this thing is as hard as a rock.
But that's a good thing as you'd buy this as a massager, and not something to sleep on.
There is hardly any padding between the massaging elements and the covering, so if you really push back on it, like say squash it up against a couch, then it's really effective in getting the knots out of your back and neck.
For the back it is rather small, but since it's made for the neck mainly, you can't ask for much.
There is a function to add heat, but it does nothing more than warms it up a little - nothing you can really feel, so for this it is useless.

If you are needing a deep muscle massage this is the one to get. There are two settings, one without heat and one with heat (the mechanism lights up red) and it has a 20 min auto shut off. I have terrible knots in my shoulders and neck and this really got them out for me. If you are having trouble on the tops of your shoulders you will need to lay in some odd angles in this, but man it does the job.
Just a word of caution! When you get this DO NOT GO OVER THE 20 MIN!! It felt so nice to get the knots out that I kept turning it back on, I felt that the next day.
Loved this so much I packaged it up and sent it on to my husband in Iraq and ordered another for me.

I hobbled into a Bed Bath and Beyond suffering beyond belief, and found this massage pillow. Since it had heat, the ability to concentrate on any area of your back, shoulders, or neck, and the fantastic price...I brought it home. After using it for several hours straight, I could stand up straight again. This pillow is worth three times as much as they are asking for it. It has done wonders for me, and now for my Mother. I added this product to my Christmas wish list a year ago and was so happy to receive it. Have had problems with lower back pain, periodic shoulder pain, and sometimes neck pain from sinus or other headache. It feels like my massage therapist kneading my back...deep and wonderful. Really works out the kinks. It's been used often over the past year with no problems whatsoever. Highly recommend it!
