Product Review: Does excatly what it is susposed to do.

This product was purchased during the Christmas rush and was still able to make it to my home well before Christmas.
It was packaged to an extent that there was minimal chance of it being damaged (there was no damage) should something happen to it during transportation.
It does excatly what the description says it is susposed to do. It is easy to function. The demo mode is my wifes favorite because it does everything without her having to directly control it.
When using the warming feature, it gives off quite a bit of warmth, but at the same time it is not too hot. My little girls can safely sit in it (have an adult control it, though.)
On the flip side, my wifes hair was caught in the netting on the top of the chair more than once. This can be remedied by placing a cloth on the top to keep the hair from contacting it. Despite this flaw, my wife still constantly uses it.
This product was recommened to us, and I highly recommended it to others!
Product Review: Doesn't Reach Upper Back

First let me say that the product does a great job of massaging the lower back. I give it two stars because it isn't enough. They should have extended the vertical travel of the massaging rollers to reach the shoulder blades as this is often an area of tension. Also I feel homedics should honestly mention in their description of the product the total vertical travel of the rollers. So, if you just want an aggressive lower back massage, this product will likely work great for you and you might give it 4 or 5 stars. If your expecting all the tension in your back to be affected by this product, then find another product.Product Review: Excellent massager

Excellent product- all my family enjoys using it for massage. The only thing it is missing is it does not reach the part of your back that is right under your neck. Unpacking the product is a snap, it's well secured in the box, and it's easy to unwrap and then attach to a chair (with the provided "security" straps).
The first thing I did was use the DEMO option on the remote control, after plugging the chair in and watching the blue lights illuminate on the rollers. I'm not sure why the chair lights up like that since your back will be against it, but it's a nice touch.
The demo mode shows you everything the chair can do, from shiatsu, to roller, to heat. It flashes lights on the remote telling you what it's doing, so you can have a visual cue as to where the massage is focused.
Rolling massage moves the system up and down your back - you can also focus on just the lower, just the upper, or a certain spot. There is also a setting allowing the roller to widen in and out, based on how close to your spine you prefer massage.
Shiatsu is the next feature, and again, it can focus on lower, upper, full back, or spot. The pressure points feel wonderful and actually feel like a professional massager really digging into your muscles.
The final option is heat - you can turn this on or off once the massager is active. It heats up very quickly, so you don't have to wait for that wonderfully warm feeling.
The only downside so far is that my back was sore the next day. This may have been because I was leaning too far back on the chair (instead of having it upright completely). Do be cautious about putting too much pressure against the machine, and try to follow the guidelines for how long you should use the massager before giving your muscles a break.
I do wish the system would not leave the lights on permanently - but that's easy to solve by unplugging the chair - and probably safer to leave it unplugged when not in use.
enjoy the chair - it provides a relaxing way to end the day, especially if you have lower back problems.

Homedics QRM-400H is a good product for the money. I chose to return my item after reconsidering the purchase. While the unit works well on hard surfaced chairs, it is not recommended on upholstered or recliners. Had I known that before the purchase I would not have ordered.
HOwever, I want to note that Amazon.com did an outstanding job of returning my purchase price and expediting the process.
