Product Review: Stopped working in 1 week

I hate to say this because I bought this pillow for my autistic daughter and she loved it. She used it about 12 hours a day and it went through a set of batteries each day. After seven days, it stopped working completely. She loves the pillow so I don't want to return it. I am trying to find a small battery hand massager to put inside of it for her so she can still have her "buzzy pillow" but then she won't be able to turn it on and off herself.
I really liked this pillow for the week it worked.
