Product Review: They DO NOT Massage!

This is, plainly put, a bad product. To be fair, the material is very soft, however, this is not sufficient. For something that claims to be soothing, this product definitely annoys me fairly easily. First of all, it's not worth twenty dollars by any means. Secondly, these booties do not massage. There is a vibrator located in a pocket that rests on the back of the ankle when worn. This is NOT soothing. It IS irritating. I think to most people, massaging would entail something that moves around instead of remaining stationary. It may vibrate, but it would normally be accompanied with motion, heat, or pressure. These booties vibrate and do nothing more. Finally, they are increasingly difficult to return to a retailer without a receipt. If you are, as I am, an unlucky recipient of this thoughtless product in the form of a gift, beware! Make sure you get a receipt from the gifting party that purchased these ungodly booties! Target will not return them without the "paperwork" as they are only sold online. Target.com will not return them without an order number, which can only be obtained if they were ordered online from target.com, and can only come from the resources of abovementioned gifting party. Wal-Mart sells HoMedics products, but does not sell this particular product. They are terrible, impossible to get rid of, and aggrivating. I think I might re-gift these stress-inducing booties (since it seems to be the only way to refrain from owning them other than to discard from them in the trash) to someone who really deserves them...a cranky old boss?...an un-accepting mother-in-law?...maybe the maintenence guy? Who I give it to doesn't matter. The point is, DO NOT BUY THESE "MASSAGING" BOOTIES!!!Product Review: great feet

My Mother has a problem with her feet when she lays down. They become icy cold, due to a nerve problem, the doctor said. The Homedics massaging booties helped immediately and her feet no longer are icy cold when she's laying down.
