Product Review: Dissappointment

This product was very appealing to read about. When received I was satisfied with the looks, and the ease of figuring out the operation. The first thing I noticed was the sound volume (for just the sound effects) is really weak, and lacks the volume of the radio.
Then, after about three days, the time projection lost some of the light bars for the projected numbers. A few days later, all the numbers faded out, so now I only have four (square) eights, projected over my bed. Since it was so cheap, and made in China.....I expected problems, just not so soon. One other small glitch. The alarm goes off exactly ome minute beforee the set time. I guess the Chinese don't like to be late.

I just purchased this and love it. 2 things that I would like to mention about the unit that aren't really addressed in it's description are 1, there is a switch that turns on and off the projection so that it'll display all night if you want it to (as opposed to the ones that only display for a few seconds when you push a button). The second thing is that I like to have the "bugs" (which is what I call the soothing sounds feature)on all night and when it's time for my alarm to go off, the buzzer or radio overrides the bugs. I have been searching for the perfect nature sounds alarm clock and I believe this one is it. I do not like waking up to buzzers because they scare the heck out of me and cause my heart rate to race for half an hour. I don't like waking up to music because then I get "ear worms" for the rest of the day, unable to get that first song out of my head. Worst of all is waking up to annoying, idiotic morning radio shows! I disagree with those who don't like the nature sounds on this clock. They are much better than other nature clocks I've had. I was skeptical about the ceiling clock, but it's kind of cool. I use it as a nightlight to relax in bed before turning it off and going to sleep. (It gives off too much ambient light for me to leave on all night.) It gives a nice blue "moon glow" to the room that helps me relax. You can see the clock fairly well in the daytime if your room is not completely bathed in sunlight.
The only thing I would change on this clock is to have the volume start low and then gradually increase until you wake up.

Ordered to use as a clock radio - the nature sounds were a plus. Delivered on a Saturday. Everything worked. Warning - there is no way to tell which radio station you are set on. No visual indicator and the control knob doesn't even tell if you are going up or down the station dial. You just have to listen for each station's call sign. Fell to sleep using the nature sounds. Sunday morning, nothing worked except the clock. No info in user manual; none online at company website. Monday morning - shipped the whole thing back for a full refund.Product Review: Don't buy it!

I decided to purchase another Projector alarm clock even though the projector on the first one I bought only worked for about 2 months. This one stopped working after 2 weeks! It shows 8888 on the screen and I can't get it to change.
