This sound machine delivers as described on Amazon. It delivers on sound and quality. One of the things that I like about this model is that it doesn't slide around on top of surfaces. I checked many online store for a better price and I could not find one. I am very much a Frugalista so you can take my word for it that the price is right. I spent WAY too much time research these little machines (as you are probably doing now) to use as white noise for our baby, and this one is perfect. We have had it for about a year and have never had a problem. It is very lightweight, so we throw it in the diaper bag to go to the babysitter's house as well. As for the sounds, there is a loop, but the baby is certainly not going to notice, so I wouldn't worry about it :o) Plus, I usually stick with the waterfall setting, which is just a constant staticy sound, so you don't notice any loop. SOUND QUALITY - it can get very loud if you want it to - I usually run it about 1/2 to 2/3 it's potential. Also, it does run on batteries as well so you can use it even if you can't find an outlet or need it in the car on a long trip. Overall, I say save your money and get this basic little sound machine that works great!Product Review: Adequate.

My unit lasted nearly three years of nightly use before breaking, foreshadowing with the rare bit of random static. I was able to extend the life several weeks by unscrewing the bottom and fiddling with the electronics, but this is clearly not the highest quality white noise generator out there. Found this item searching for a dream sleep clock radio. For the low price, I was very impressed with the quality and sound from this little sleep buddy. It is a little bigger than the size of a CD. Was purchased to help keep my son asleep at night. So far so good.
