Product Review: Good but only lasts a short time

We ordered two of these to use for our baby to help him sleep and distract him from loud noises outside (we live in the city). The first one was great and convenient since we were able to travel with it and pack it away when we were taking a trip. But after about 3 months it started to short out so we ordered another one. The new one has started to short out after only a month which is frustrating. I wont be ordering this model again but it was good for the price.Product Review: Good buy

I bought this for my 10 year old son's room, who insisted on having a humidifier running in his room year round because he couldn't sleep without the "sound". Volume control is good, you can plug it in and put in batteries for camping, grandmas' etc. Waterfall sounds almost exactly like the water humidifier we have, rainfall is another nice one to fall asleep to. Would really like the ocean waves one if there wasn't seagulls in the background. All in all does the job to a tee.Product Review: Good for about a year

We bought this for our son about 9 months ago, and it worked great for about 7 months. It helped drown out the noises in the house, and it helped him sleep better. Unfortunately, now it shorts out for a couple of seconds after it's been on for a few minutes. It shorts a few times intermittently for the first hour or so, then it stays on. We'd like to turn it off when he isn't napping, but if we do, it will short when we turn it on when he's napping which wakes him up. Really quite frustrating for something that would have been a good product.Product Review: Good for the price

This doesn't produce the "white noise" that we prefer, but the "waterfall" setting is similar to white noise. I like that it's small and lightweight, making it good for small spaces or travel. I also like that it has a timer setting, or can stay on indefinately.
