My wife recently had knee surgery and, since she likes to lie on her side, couldn't find a sleeping position that wasn't painful. This pillow, placed between her legs just above (not BETWEEN) the knees allowed her to comfortably sleep on her side and get the rest she needed. It has just the right firmness to maintain separation and keep her back aligned,but still conforms to the shape of her legs without causing pressure points. Great product!
