I read all of the reviews before purchasing this product but decided to buy it anyway since I liked so many of the advertised features. I used it today for the first time, and am not sure what people are expecting, but I was very pleased. I do agree that the claims about keeping the water warm do not seem to be true, however, I filled the unit with hot water so it stayed warm until I was finished. I loved the handheld tool and its attachments, and found that they worked well on my tough calluses. I did not have any trouble with the bubbles and thought they worked very well and were quite relaxing. I added a foot bath to the water in the beginning but had trouble with it foaming, so turned off the unit and let my feet soak for 10 minutes and then changed the water to remove the soapy part. I purchased several of the Sally Hansen foot care products to go along with the spa and complete my home pedicure experience and was very pleased with those as well. I know I am the only one saying this (aside from one other reviewer) but I would recommend this product to anyone, assuming that you are not expecting a salon-quality machine.Product Review: Waste of money

I chose this model because it was the only one available in the store (Bed, Bath and Beyond) for which I had a 20% off coupon. Well, is didn't heat water at all. The store promptly exchanged the unit. The second one didn't heat either and was much noisier than the first one. I plan to return it this coming weekend.

As a full time student, this was an extravagant purchase for me. However, as a full time pharmacy tech, I spend my days on me feet and thought this would be just the ticket to some soothing pampering. Rarely do you find something that is actually nicer than it looks on the box. I love some of the smaller features like the handle. Anyone who has ever tried to re-locate a steaming tub of water in the name of a foot massage knows what value this adds to this product. It also features a nice drain area, a comfortable gel foot rest for use w/ the pedi attachment and even touts it's own storage for the pedi tool's 5 different heads. So wheres the big let down? First of all the bubbles are mild and this tub does not feature vibration massage. Second, and probably my biggest issue with this tub: They claim it to have "Heat". Upon reading the manual you find that the heat is only for maintaining the temprture you put in it. Which I found acceptable, until it didn't work. I timed the product while in use and it steadily decreased from steaming to stone cold inside of the 15 minute mark. So all and all you left with a tepid, gurgling experience. Certainly not worth 50 bucks in my opinion. It was kind of like a Mercedes Benz... with no engine. Lots of bells and whistles, super elite and top of line but, it just doesn't accomplish it's primary function.Product Review: ZERO STARS FOR THIS PRODUCT

This product was not received in even WORKING ORDER. Who has time for such nonsense? (buying, returning, reordering). I contacted manufacturer, who refused to take responsibility for this nonfunctioning product, and advised I return to Macy's. Macy's wants $7 to return...I HAVE TO PAY THEM TO TAKE THIS DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE BACK? I won't bother...Between Homedics and Macy's, they should have been able to get this right the first time, right? Wrong! Buy a Rubbermaid dishwashing tub and a pumice stone...a fraction of the cost and just as effective! Never again.....Let's see how many e-mails I get from the businesses involved wishing to correct this..Yeah, riiiiight!Product Review: disappointing product

I chose this product mostly for the claimed heat feature. But where is the heat? Hot water gets cold very quickly in the foorbath. The bubbling is also very mild. There is no control for either heat or bubbling.
This thing also is not as quiet as claimed. There is a constant humming noise much louder than my ultrasonic humidifier. Considering the little this thing does (just a few wimpy bubbles), the noise is even more annoying. I am going to return this thing if I still can!
