Product Review: Great for Working on Laptops

I bought this product because I spend a lot of time on my laptop in my bed. It supports my back against the headboard and helps me feel comfortable while sitting in the bed with the computer (I use a bed tray to support the laptop over my lap). I really like the fact that the arms rotate up to make it easier to change postions or get up. I have even used it occassionaly for sitting on the floor, though when i do this, i need to use a pillow under my bottom because it doesn't have a pillow seat.
I dont use the cup holder, massager, or side pockets ... i didn't need those features. i just needed the back support. But the cup holder is pretty useless anyway because the arms are short ... if you put a cup in this holder your cup wuld be under your arm pit. Very silly design. I wish the cup holder was optional or removable because it interferes with me being able to rest my elbow on the arm while i work on my laptop.
I agree with other users that it is not good for reclining and reading in bed, for that purpose this product forces you to sit up too straight.
Also the product is very light so it can easily be moved to any location you might need it. All in all I am very happy with this product.

I was disappointed with how uncomfortable this back rest is. I am shorter and the back rest curvature is not very flexible or fitting to someone of my height. For me, it was a waste of a lot of money.Product Review: HoMedics Back rest

I bought this backrest for my mom who lives in another state. I asked her if she uses it and whether or not she felt that it was working for her needs and she said she does use it and that she likes because of the massager and it is better for her back when she sits up in bed.
