I know everyone swears by the Hitachi Magic Wand as a sex toy, but I tried it *on my shoulder* and found it too intense there. It made my skin itchy and numb. I can't imagine trying it on a more intimate location. (Also, the bulb is pretty big -- fine for massaging a shoulder, lower back, neck, etc., but maybe not so great for ... smaller body parts.) I don't know -- I realize I'm in the minority here, but I'm disappointed. (I gave it three stars because it definitely works -- I would feel bad giving it a lower rating when it operates as advertised.)Product Review: Feels MAH-velous!

I really like this toy, inside and out [of my body.] eGlass is what I generally prefer as it can be heated and/or chilled, but this will do just fine. Easily used, super easy to clean, easy to master.

Even though the Hitachi is well-known for it's amazing qualities in the bedroom, I just use it as a regular muscle massager (it's too powerful for me to use in 'other' areas). This thing is freakin' amazing! I have back, neck, hip, and knee pain; the Hitachi works it all out. Honestly, it feels like I'm getting a professional massage with the exuberant prices and time limit. I highly recommend this for body pain. My only complaints are that the thing is very loud, bulky, heats up a little too quickly (I have to turn it off and let it cool down after 15 minutes of use), and the cord is a bit too short.
